This has to be on of the best paint jobs I’ve ever seen on a boat.
And yes, if you're wondering, I am still looking at boats.

Too subtle. Also, if you’re looking at ski boats, check out Sanger. I don’t think the have the Mastercraft/Nautique tax...

Yeah I’d rock that

Wrap or paint?

No idea. All I know is it looks fantastic

This one is actually pretty reasonably priced. But yea it seems like you can’t touch a MasterCraft or Nautique for under $15k here even for the older ones

As a Mastercraft owner, I love it. I’d never buy a boat that looked like that, but I’d drink a beer with the guy that does!
Mine for reference:

I get the mentality, but that’s like saying, “ don’t buy a Lexus, buy a Kia, you get more for your money.”
You (generally) get vastly more build quality and resale value out of the major players.
(I own a MC, so I am admittedly biased)

If your goal is to surf, I’d recommend staying away from DD boats. You can do it, but a V-drive is going to treat you infinitely better.
onlyinboards.com is your friend.
Edit: You’d have to come up by me to look at it, but here’s one!

That's rad!

It’s no “Jizzle Drizzle.”

I looked through the ad again and it's a wrap unfortunately

My aesthetic taste runs to classic wood-plank runabouts but that day-glo dazzle really works for me on a ski boat.

I’ve spent significant time in a wide variety of boats, inboard and otherwise, and there is a real difference in the best brands.
Another example is Boston Whaler. Around here, you can still get $4k for a 13' whaler with a 25hp outboard, in pretty mediocre condition. But they really are incredibly solid.
One of the first inboards I spent significant time in was a 1989 Ski Nautique, and man, did we beat the hell out of that boat. In return, it worked perfectly all the time.

Was going to say, that has to be a wrap. Indeed I guess it is. Still, “neat!”
I don’t really like the tower though. Err, maybe it’s the bimini on top. This, from a guy who has an over-the-tower bimini. It’s just too much I think, on that smaller boat. Dunno.

Yea, the bimini top looks like a sail on this thing

This is a little more subtle but still says 1980s

The tower though, actually fits it pretty well. I don’t like the rear upright, but that’s personal preference. My boat tastes are boring.

The rear upright does kind of look like a tribal tattoo lol
